The games program has been thrown away.  By observing the teens’ reactions to our scheduled day, we made adjustments to the schedule to place importance on sleep and chapel and make most everything else optional.  The kids are enjoying the camp songs we are singing, and you can catch them singing the songs throughout the day.

Although there was “free time” in the schedule, we had 2-3 activities going at once, allowing the kids to choose.  We had a soccer game, kickball game, water fight and swimming,  We also broke out the string for bracelets and hair braids, but only a few participated in that.

The day’s theme was Love the Lord with all your mind, Brandon gave the morning chapel message and Aaron gave the evening.  We added the “Matrix” move to the camp handshake.
