BIOSKETCH:     Their first ministry was helping to start Bethel Baptist Church at Rota, Spain, a ministry to the US naval forces stationed at the Naval Base there.  From 1977 to 1980, they were in Torrejon, Spain, working with the US military forces stationed at the Torrejon Air Force Base.              In 1980 they moved to Naples, Italy, and helped start Victory Baptist Church.  In 1982 they moved to Sigonella, Sicily, to unite two churches into one.  This was the beginning of Mediterranean Baptist Church, and was a new experience for the Woodfields. In 1986, they returned to Italy and served at Adriatic Baptist Church at San Vito.  In 1989 they relocated to Vicenza, Italy, where they helped some military families start Vicenza Baptist Church.  In 1994, the Woodfields began their ministry with OREMEX Ministries of Mission, Texas.

A TRAVELING MINISTRY (Eddie has been preaching for almost 40 years!!)
◊   1 – accepted as missionaries thru BIMI
◊   1 – 1st ministry…helping to start Bethel Baptist Church at Rota, Spain, a ministry to the US naval forces

◊    After being on the field nine and one-half years without a furlough, the Woodfields went home for a year, At that time, they felt lead of the Lord to go directly out of our local church, Tri-City Baptist Church of Independence, Missouri. Dr. Carl D. Herbster is the pastor. They have worked directly out of this church since 1985.
◊   1 returned to Italy and served at Adriatic Baptist Church at San Vito.
◊   1 relocated to Vicenza, Italy, where we helped some military families start Vicenza Baptist Church.
◊   1PRESENT - Woodfields began their ministry with OREMEX Ministries of Mission, Texas. It is now called OREMUNDO.

The following is a snippet from Eddie’s personal testimony… Since being saved, I have traveled into another 10-12 countries. This time I enjoyed meeting the people and seeing the different cultures. I have eaten a lot of strange things. Such as: monkey, dog, cat, donkey, snails, sparrows, caterpillar, horse, eels, raw fish, whale, squid, octopus, snake, alligator, bison, water-buffalo, blukes, brains, tongues, heads, eyes, and several other parts, which most people do not like to mention. I did eat rat once, but unknowing. It was ground-up and slipped into the makings.

Praise:

a. Able to ship three years of DVD Bible curriculum to Cuba. This is the fourth door in Cuba opened to us.
b. Our Summer Mission Trips into Mexico are fully booked for this Summer. (see photos on Missionary board in March)
 c. Money has been made available to start our remodeling project (see prayer request below)

Pray:

  a. God's continued direction and blessing upon us and our ministry.
  b. Eddie's physical health. I am doing well, but must be careful.
  c. We are in a remodeling project. We are in need of finances for this project to be completed. God has provided some, but we need another $20,000.
