BIOSKETCH:    Dave grew up in northeast Ohio and attended Christian school through 10th grade. It was during his first year in school, at the age of five that he prayed to receive Jesus Christ as his Savior. While in 5th and 6th grade, Dave attended AWANA at West Hill Baptist Church with Rick and Sherry Kortvejesi.   When Dave was attending Cedarville University, he was part of a Spring Break evangelism team. It was during college that Dave went forward to publicly state his openness to missions.
Ruth grew up in a Christian home in northwest Indiana. When Ruth was 8 years old, her parents hosted a Good News Bible Club in their home. After the missionary story one day, she recognized her need for a Savior and invited Jesus into her life. Through the youth group at church, the Lord led Ruth to Cedarville University. While at Cedarville, she spent 3 months in Quebec on a mission trip. Upon her return home, she gave her life to the Lord for missions work.
